Hans & Jos. KRONENBERG GmbH is a German manufacturer of components for the lift industry, based in Bergisch Gladbach since 1932. The company designs and produces door interlocks, retiring cams, switches and control panels for installations in more than 30 countries.
KRONENBERG controls the entire manufacturing process at its Kurt-Schumacher-Straße 1 site: machining of interlock bodies, stamping, CNC milling, then assembly and final inspection of door interlocks.

Standard swing door interlocks – EN 81-20
KRONENBERG standard door interlocks are intended for single- or double-leaf swing landing doors. They comply with EN 81-20 and cover most common applications for new installations or modernisation.
Common features – DL(F) / EL(F) range
Applicable to: DLF1/7 or DL1/6, DL(F)1, DL(F)2, EL(F)1.
- Robust metal housing, suitable for heavy-duty use.
- Transparent cover for quick visual inspection of the mechanism.
- Quiet operation thanks to end stops in both directions of movement.
- Lifetime lubrication with high-performance grease, effective down to approx. –30 °C.

DLF1/7 ou DLF1/6
Basic device for single-leaf swing landing doors. It covers most standard applications.

-Option to add an adjustable door switch to monitor the closed position.

DL(F)1
All-purpose door interlock for single-leaf swing landing doors. It offers an extended range of applications with many variants and options.

DL(F)2
Door interlock for double-leaf swing doors. Both bolts are integrated in a single housing mounted above the door.

EL(F)1
Compact door interlock for single-leaf doors. It uses the technology of the DL(F)1 in a reduced housing.

-Compact design for restricted installation spaces, especially in modernisation.
- Contact holder insert for the locking mechanism, with optional double auxiliary switch.
- Different door switch options to monitor the closed position, internal or external adjustable.
- Screw terminal with pressure plate for convenient connection of two conductors.
CL(F)
Flat door interlock for single-leaf doors. It is the slimmest device in the standard range.

- Flat, symmetrical housing with the bolt centred in the interlock.

- Reduced bolt stroke requiring lower actuation force on the retiring cam.

Swing door interlocks – EN 81-21
KRONENBERG EN 81-21 door interlocks are intended for existing lifts.
They are used when the protective space in the shaft head or pit is insufficient.
These versions supplement the safety of standard models in accordance with EN 81-21.

Applicable to: DL(F)1 EN 81-21, EL(F)1 EN 81-21.
- Designed for existing lifts with reduced space in the shaft head or pit.

Motorised door interlocks
KRONENBERG motorised door interlocks integrate an electric motor in the interlock housing. They enable quiet locking and unlocking of landing doors, without a mechanical retiring cam.

- Integrated electric motor to actuate the bolt with force and precision.

DL(F)1MO
Motorised door interlock for single-leaf landing doors.
It ensures quiet locking of shaft doors.

- Suitable for installations with a low number of stops or for platform lifts.

DL(F)2MO
Motorised door interlock for double-leaf swing doors. Both bolts are actuated by a single motor in the housing.

CL(F)MO-UL
Flat motorised door interlock for single-leaf doors, with UL certification. It is intended in particular for residential installations on the North American market.

WPM System
The WPM System is a control module for motorised door interlocks. It uses inductive coupling between the car and the shaft to supply power to the interlock of the served landing.

- Control system for DL(F)1MO, DL(F)2MO and CL(F)MO motorised interlocks.
- Inductive coupling that detects the presence of the car at the relevant landing.
- Energy is transmitted only to the served floor; all other interlocks remain locked.

KRONENBERG door interlocks with increased levels of protection are intended for humid, dusty or harsh industrial environments.
Depending on the model, they offer increased protection up to IP54, IP67 or a version for explosive atmospheres (ATEX zones).
